A Winter Hymn to say goodbye to the harshest of months- Happy December!

Last night my lover surprised me with a ticket to go see Fleet Foxes  at Forest National in Brussels! Having had an extremely busy day at work (I was organizing a conference on my first day back after 10 rather tough days in Athens)  I ended up finding out that I had a heart marked envelope with a free ticket waiting for me at home half an hour after the opening band had acually started!! So I jumped in a taxi and was transported into a magical world of mesmerizing indian patterns set against a starry sky through their incredibly beautiful video projections, their sweetly melodical music and their primitive nature-loving calls! Folk music has never been so electric! I even loved the jazz powernoise explosions with which their newest songs end! What a lovely surprise and an unexpected treat! I was lucky to have seen Fleet Foxes last summer at Rock Werchter (the awesomest festival in Europa!)  and needless to say they had blown me away! A perfect way to say goodbye to November, the harshest of months and embrace winter time! Enjoy!

PS: their t-shirts were also lovely!

My favourite Fleet Foxes song!

A taste of their amazing video projections from their website!

For all our good memories in Mykonos...
